A man's body was found in a burning pickup truck after the fire was put out Saturday in Hampton Bays, Southampton Town Police said.

Police said the case is not believed to be criminal.

Sgt. Michael Burns said the truck and the body were found after a call at 12:04 p.m. reported the truck, on the beach access to Peconic Bay at 107 North Rd., was ablaze. The truck fire was doused and the man's body was found in the driver seat, police said. "At this time no criminality has been established," Southampton police said in a statement.
