A Ronkonkoma woman was arrested on drunken driving and other charges Monday after a single car traffic accident in Oakdale in which she and her two children were injured, Suffolk sheriffs said.

Darlene Graham, 29, of Ronkonkoma, was admitted to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life threatening injuries, sheriffs said. Her two children, aged 3 and 6, were treated for minor injuries at the hospital and released to the care of another family member.

Graham was charged with driving while impaired by drugs; two counts of aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child in violation of Leandra's Law; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child; unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle; and driving with a suspended registration, sheriffs said.

Graham was operating a 2006 Nissan Altima east on Sunrise Highway in Oakdale at 8:30 a.m., sheriffs said, when she lost control of the car and it rolled over near the intersection of Oakdale-Bohemia Road.

Graham, also had outstanding warrants for grand larceny and criminal mischief, was to be arraigned at an undetermined date, officials said.
