A suspicious package that "poofed" yellow smoke and cleared out the Manorville Post Office Wednesday morning was found to contain a fire extinguisher that discharged after being dropped, police said.
The incident was reported in a 911 call at 7:18 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
The caller reported that yellow smoke "poofed" from the package when it was set down inside the post office...
