Cops probe apparent North Amityville home invasion
Suffolk police are investigating an apparent home invasion in North Amityville in which a man survived a gunshot to the head during a robbery. The victim, Hassan Blackmon, 29, suffered only a minor wound from the grazing shot, police said. Blackmon was treated and released from New Island Hospital in Bethpage, police said.
