Cops probe graffiti on mosque as hate crime

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and the Suffolk Hate Crimes Unit are investigating the painting of graffiti on a North Bay Shore mosque as a hate crime, police said Friday.

Police are trying to determine who painted two phrases on the exterior walls of the Masjid Darul Quran mosque at 1514 E. 3rd Ave.
