Arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of a fire that damaged a house in Huntington Station Monday, police and fire officials said.

The fire in the home at the corner of East 17th Street and Meadowbrook Drive was reported at 9:03 a.m., Suffolk County police said. Six minutes later officials reported the home was "fully engulfed."

It was not immediately clear whether the home was occupied at the time the fire broke out. Police said no one was injured in the blaze.
