Cops probe spree of Huntington burglaries

Detectives are investigating four burglaries and two attempted break-ins that occurred early Monday, all at retail establishments on East Main Street in Huntington, Suffolk County police said.

Cash was taken from Paesano Pizzeria, Paragon Pools, China King restaurant and Fort Hill Cleaners, police said. There were attempted burglaries at Cup O Joe restaurant, with no entry gained, and at 221 Club, a training and nutrition establishment, where entry was gained but nothing was taken, police said.

Second Squad detectives are investigating the incidents, which all occurred around 1:30 a.m.
