Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Village police are looking for a woman suspected in the theft of two leather purses worth more than $4,000 from a Southampton store.

Police on Tuesday released photographs of the woman taken from video surveillance cameras at The Perfect Purse, 20 Hampton Rd.

On Oct. 25, police said the suspect entered the store and removed two purses: a black, 10-inch Chanel double-flap model, valued at $3,600; and a gold-colored, imitation leather Hermes Birkin bag, valued at $700.

After taking the two purses the woman walked away in an unknown direction, police said.
