Cops seek suspect in Rocky Point bank robbery

Detectives from the Suffolk County Police's Pattern Crime Unit are searching for a man who robbed the Bridgehampton National Bank on Route 25A in Rocky Point on Saturday morning.

The suspect entered the bank at 9:44 a.m. and approached a teller with a note demanding cash, police said.

The teller complied, giving the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash from the drawer.

The suspect, who is described as 45 to 50 years old, about 6-feet tall and thin, fled on foot heading east on Route 25A, police said. The suspect was last seen wearing a beige sweatshirt, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
