A Shirley man has been jailed on a charge he sold crack, Southampton Town police said Tuesday.

Henderson sold crack in the town some time in February of last year, said Ralph, who did not have any other details.

The investigation into drug sales in Southampton is being headed by the Suffolk County District Attorney's East End Drug Task Force, which includes members of the town police department, Ralph said.

Henderson was arraigned Saturday and is being held on $500 bail.
