A bicycle-riding teen armed with a BB-gun robbed a man of his wallet late Wednesday, Suffolk County police said.

Laquan Brown, 16, of 619 Lakeway Dr., West Babylon, faces charges of second-degree robbery after allegedly taking the wallet from a man who was walking home from the Long Island Rail Road station in Babylon at about 11:50 p.m., police said.

Police said the suspect then ran off on foot, taking the wallet and leaving behind the bicycle.

The witness gave First Precinct officers a description of the suspect, and Officer James Hillgardner found him within 10 minutes of the robbery, police said.

Brown is scheduled to be arraigned Thursday on a charge of second-degree robbery at First District Court in Central Islip.
