Riverhead Town police said Monday they are looking for a woman who in November tried to buy items with a fake $100 bill.

Police released photographs of the woman taken from video surveillance at the store at 758 Old Country Rd., Riverhead.

She entered the store at about 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 22, tried to purchase two items and then promptly fled, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
