Two of the three men suspected in at least five armed robberies in eastern Suffolk were arraigned Wednesday on a grand jury indictment in one of those robberies, officials said.

Erick Darden, 19, and Arnell Nash, 21, both of Riverhead, were arraigned in Superior Court, Riverhead, on charges of first-degree robbery, third-degree robbery and petty larceny, all relating to the robbery of the Valero Gas Station on Route 24 in Riverside on Oct. 31, prosecutors said.

Both men pleaded not guilty to the charges.

Darden was ordered held on $200,000 bond, and $40,000 cash bail, and Nash was ordered held on $100,000 bond, and $25,000 cash bail.

Larry Moore, 17, the third suspect, was to be arraigned Dec. 14.

At the Valero gas station robbery, masked suspects displayed guns and struck the clerk several times before leaving with $270, police said.

Authorities said they are continuing to investigate, and suspect the three men in similar robberies between Oct. 20 and Nov. 19, including the robberies at the BP Station in Mattituck and Bath's Pharmacy in Riverhead.
