DA: West Va. company underpaid golf course workers
The owners of a West Virginia company who won a lucrative Bellport village contract to do irrigation work at the municipal golf course pleaded not guilty Wednesday to underpaying workers, fraud, filing false payroll and other charges.
Brothers Ronald and Donald Adkins of Aspen Corp. surrendered to Suffolk prosecutors Wednesday morning and were charged with a 17-count grand jury indictment.
