Decapitated goat found in Islip, officials say

Suffolk authorities are searching for whoever left a decapitated goat in a wooded area near Islip's Brook Street.

Roy Gross, chief of the Suffolk Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, said the goat's severed head and body were found in a white garbage bag Saturday. It is not clear when or where the goat was killed, Gross said.

The SPCA has a $1,000 reward for information...
