Defense questions detective in Lucero case
The defense attorney for one of the seven teenagers charged with the hate killing of Ecuadorean Marcelo Lucero Wednesday grilled the Suffolk County detective who took the teen's written statement, concluding two days of pretrial hearings.
The hearings are to determine whether Kevin Shea's statement is admissible and whether his identification was done appropriately.
