A 37-year-old woman from East Quogue was killed in a single-vehicle highway rollover crash in Ontario, Canada, Wednesday, the Canadian news organization CBC News reported.
A man and a woman in the vehicle, also from East Quogue, were seriously injured, the news agency said.
Calls to Ontario Provincial Police seeking details of the crash were not immediately returned Thursday.
The CBC said the accident involved a 2012 Honda CRV and said it occurred on Highway 401 in Augusta Township, along the St. Lawrence River north of Kingston, Ontario, and the Thousand Islands region of upstate New York.
The CBC said the Honda was headed east on Highway 401 when the driver, identified only as a man, lost control at about 2:30 p.m., hit the median at the Blue Church Road overpass -- and the vehicle rolled over several times.
The Honda landed on its roof, according to the report.
The news agency said the driver and a 68-year-old woman were hospitalized in serious condition. A 37-year-old woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the agency said.
Additional details were not immediately available.
