Engeman Theater's "Rent" aims to raise AIDS care funds
The directors of the John W. Engeman Theater of Northport said Tuesday they've set a goal of raising $50,000 for AIDS care during the run of "Rent," making its Long Island premiere starting Sept. 10.
"We're always looking for appropriate Long Island charity tie-ins to the shows we do here," Kevin O'Neill said at a news conference in the theater's Green Room lounge.
