Fire destroys 2 homes in Fire Island Pines
A fast-moving fire destroyed two homes in Fire Island Pines late Wednesday, fire officials said. The fire broke out at about 10 p.m., said Ed Tully, deputy chief fire coordinator of Suffolk County's Department of Fire, Rescue & Emergency Services.
