Fire Island tourist recalls beating in court
The Manhattan man who has accused Ocean Beach police of beating him so badly his bladder burst said his attackers' faces were hazy, but other details were crystal clear.
"I remember being hit, I remember being punched," Sam Gilberd, 36, told a jury Thursday in Riverhead. "I got a big kick in my stomach and everything got really bright, and then it went dark."
