Fireman adopts malnourished pup
A malnourished puppy found near death in a shed at a North Amityville mobile home park has been adopted by a firefighter, the Suffolk County SPCA said Wednesday.
The pit bull, estimated to be about 12 to 16 weeks old, is now living with Vincent Zupo and his family, chief Roy Gross of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals said.
