Hampton Bays dad, sons face drug charges

A father and two sons were arrested at their home in Hampton Bays last week after an investigation into drug sales on the East End, Southampton Town police said Wednesday.

Ronald Jiminez Sr., 63, Ronald Jiminez Jr., 26, and Damien Jiminez, 20, were all arrested after the execution of a warrant at their home at 30 Springville Rd. by members of the Suffolk district attorney's office East End Drug Task Force and Southampton police on Thursday.

The elder Jiminez was charged with two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said.

He was held overnight for arraignment on Friday. Arraignment details were not immediately available Wednesday.

Police said Ronald Jiminez Jr. and Damien Jiminez were each charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. They were both released on appearance tickets and are scheduled for arraignment at a later date, police said.

Police said cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia were seized during the arrests.
