LI drugmaker gets OK to make generic psoriasis cream
An Amityville pharmaceutical manufacturer has obtained final federal approval to make a generic version of an ointment that treats a form of psoriasis.
Hi-Tech Pharmacal Co. obtained the approval Nov. 19 from the Food and Drug Administration. The approval allows the company to make its generic version of Dovonex, said chief financial officer Bill Peters.
