LI police departments seeking more minority recruits

As Long Island's population becomes more diverse, its police departments are hoping to have more minorities represented in their ranks. In an effort to change those numbers before the 2015 police entrance exam, Suffolk County is sending recruiters like Officer Damon Barney to colleges and job fairs to get the word out about careers in law enforcement.
