Two Long Islanders aboard a small plane were injured after crashing into a building in an industrial area near Long Island MacArthur Airport. Myron David Rowe, of Mount Sinai, the pilot and owner, was practicing takeoffs and landings on a runway at the airport with flight instructor David Jensen aboard. A small plane owned by a Mount Sinai man crashed June 5, 2010, into a building in an industrial area near Long Island MacArthur Airport, injuring the two people aboard. Myron David Rowe, the pilot and owner, was practicing takeoffs and landings on a runway at the airport with flight instructor David Jensen aboard. The plane hit a manufacturing building in Bohemia on Ocean Avenue, about a half-mile from the airport.
