One seriously injured after Lindenhurst crash

One person was seriously injured Friday night after a motorbike crashed into a minivan in Lindenhurst, Suffolk police said.

The collision occurred at about 10:15 p.m. on North Eighth Street, police said.

It was unclear if the victim, who was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital, was in the minivan or on what Suffolk police Friday night described as a motorbike.

The victim was listed in serious condition late Friday night, officials said. No other details about the crash were immediately available.
