Long Island dog left in Dumpster survives

A gray and white Lhasa apso found by a homeless man rummaging through a gas station Dumpster in West Islip on Christmas Eve is recovering at Islip Town's animal shelter in Bay Shore. She's been nicknamed Miracle by shelter staff.
