Man, dog found dead in Amityville trailer home
A man was found dead in his Amityville trailer home Sunday afternoon after Suffolk County police responded to a complaint from neighbors about the condition of his property.
"It appeared that the man has been dead for some time," said Suffolk Police Sgt. David Teufel. The man, who lived at 281 Sioux Ave., was the owner of two dogs, a Rottweiler and a pit bull.
