Man used stolen credit cards for purchases, Suffolk cops say

Suffolk County police and Crime Stoppers are searching for a suspect who used stolen credit cards to make unauthorized purchases in June at several locations.

Police on Wednesday released photographs of the suspect taken from video surveillance. They said the man used the cards on June 30 for purchases at GameStop, at 346 Rte. 25A in Rocky Point, and Ocean 5 Seafood, at 99 Rte. 25A, Shoreham.

Earlier the same day, a purse containing the cards was stolen from a 2005 Jeep Liberty that was parked at Island Hill Stables, 25 Rocky Point Rd., Middle Island.

The man was wearing a shirt horizontal stripes and a red or maroon baseball hat.
