Maximum sentence in Medford slaying

Evans Ganthier, of Port Jefferson Station, was sentenced to the maximum sentence of 25 years to life in prison Monday for stabbing Rebecca Koster, a Medford woman, to death before mutilating her body, dumping it in Connecticut and setting it on fire.
