The motorcyclist who was killed Monday night when he collided with a sport utility vehicle on Montauk Highway in East Patchogue has been identified as Elliot B. Smith, 42, of North Babylon, police said.

Suffolk County police said the crash occurred at the intersection of Sills Road at about 10 p.m. Police said Smith, riding a 2007 Suzuki motorcycle, was headed westbound on Montauk Highway...
