NY OKs loans for 'green' home upgrades
New York property owners will have a new way to pay for energy efficiency upgrades to their homes with the passage of state legislation.
The legislation, approved Monday, will allow New York municipalities to tap a federal stream of some $450 million in stimulus funding to set up Property Assessed Clean Energy financing programs.
