Parkway lanes closing overnight in Babylon
To allow for bridge repair work, two of three travel lanes of the Southern State Parkway in the Town of Babylon will be closed overnight from Sunday through next Friday, weather permitting, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The closures will allow for scaffolding to be built at the Belmont Avenue and Little East Neck Road bridges, the DOT said Friday.
