People uninjured, pets die in Bay Shore house fire
A fire broke out inside a Bay Shore home Saturday morning, but the occupants escaped without injury, fire officials said.
The fire was reported about 6:53 a.m. at a single-family home on Santam Court, authorities said.
There were at least two people inside the home when the fire broke out, according to the Bay Shore Fire Department.
