Police: Birthday meal, candy precede robbery

He took her to McDonald's for a birthday date, but police said, she -- and five accomplices -- robbed him blind, and took his wallet, iPhone, tablet computer and even a box of chocolates he had brought.

Now, Virginia Miller, 26, of 133 Harrison Ave., North Amityville, and three men are under arrest, charged in connection with the 9:30 p.m. Monday incident in North Amityville.
