Suffolk County's Homicide Squad and Crime Stoppers are trying to identify remains of a woman found in March on a bike path in East Setauket.
Police on Tuesday released a sketch of the woman, whose remains were found of the Greenway Bicycle Path off Gnarled Hollow Road on March 22.
Homicide detectives believe the remains were there for about a year; the woman is thought to be 30 to 50 years old, between 5 feet 3 inches and 5 feet 9 inches tall and had poor dental work.
A hiker found the remains about 20 feet off the path, police said.
