Crime Stoppers and Town of Riverhead Police detectives are looking for a woman who stole six jackets worth more than $1,000 from a Riverhead Sports Authority in December, Suffolk County police said Monday.

Police on Monday released photographs of the female suspect and a man, in his early 20s, who accompanied her to the Sports Authority at 1160 Old Country Rd. on Dec. 5.

The photos were taken from video surveillance at the store.

Police said the woman was seen walking out of the store, pushing a red shopping cart, at about 2 p.m.

As she left the store, the security sensors attached to six North Face Denali jackets triggered an alarm. Sales personnel checked the floor and found that the six jackets -- worth more than $1,000 -- were gone, police said.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
