Rare surgery saves Holbrook infant's life
Dr. Vinci Jones, who heads the pediatric surgery program at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, solved the mystery of 7-week-old Dominic Belluscio's swollen, hardened abdomen, diagnosing him with a life-threatening infection that he treated surgically and with antibiotics.
