Rep. Israel seeks ban on common turkey additive

That Thanksgiving turkey could come with trace amounts of arsenic, Rep. Steve Israel warned yesterday at a Hauppauge news conference.

Israel (D-Huntington) called for a federal ban on roxarsone, a common chicken and turkey additive that he said contains elements of cancer-causing arsenic.
