The Suffolk County Marathon steps off Sunday morning, and police are encouraging drivers to watch out for road closures along the marathon course.

The following roads will be closed from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., police said:

— Montauk Highway (Route 27A) between North Ocean Avenue, Patchogue, and Connetquot Avenue, Great River.

— Exit 46A off Sunrise Highway (Route 27) for Montauk Highway, Oakdale.

— Southbound Nicolls Road (County Road 97) will be closed south of Sunrise Highway (Route 27) at Church Street, Bayport.

— Southbound Broadway Avenue, south of Sunrise Highway (Route 27), Sayville.

— Great River Road, south of Montauk Highway (Route 27A).

Some roads in the Patchogue, Bayport, Blue Point, Savyille, West Sayville, Oakdale and Great River areas will be open to traffic, though police said to expect delays.

In Patchogue, North Ocean Avenue and South Ocean Avenue will remain open.

In Bayport and Blue Point, drivers can use Division Avenue, Gillette Avenue, Bayport Avenue and Middle Road.

Railroad Avenue, Gillette Avenue and Greene Avenue will be accessible in Sayville, and Tyler Avenue and Atlantic Avenue will be open in West Sayville.

In Oakdale, police advise using Oakdale-Bohemia Road, Bridle Way and Franklin Avenue. In Great River, traffic is reduced to a single lane on Timber Point Road, directed toward Leeside Drive.
