Suffolk police are searching for a man they say robbed a bank in West Babylon late Wednesday morning.

Police said a 25- to 30-year-old man with light brown hair wearing a gray Hollister sweatshirt entered the TD Bank on West Montauk Highway at about 11:55 a.m., then handed a bank teller a note demanding cash and indicating that he had a gun.

The teller gave him an unknown amount of cash from the drawer and the man fled on foot eastbound through the parking lot, police said.
