Suspect sought in E. Northport bank robbery

Suffolk County police are searching for a man wearing a Mardi Gras-style mask who robbed a bank in East Northport on Friday night.

The man entered the TD Bank on Larkfield Road at 7:10 p.m. and demanded money, police said. The teller complied, turning over an unspecified amount of cash. The suspect then fled the bank on foot, heading east, police said.

Police could not immediately provide information about whether the suspect had a weapon.

The suspect was last seen wearing gloves and a dark hooded sweatshirt under a silver-and-blue down jacket.
