Police said he burglarized four tire stores in Centereach, Shirley and Smithtown in late 2012, stealing cash and New York State vehicle inspection stickers.

Now, Suffolk County police are asking the public's help in identifying -- and locating -- the suspect who was recorded on video surveillance footage inside at least one of the four Mavis Discount Tire stores they said were burglarized in October and November.

The man is believed to be in his 50s -- and is bald with a stocky build, police said.

Anyone with information about the burglaries or the identity of the suspect is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for any information leading to an arrest.
