Two men were injured, one seriously, when their bread delivery van hit a pole and overturned Sunday morning in Stony Brook, Suffolk County police said.

Djibril Diallo was driving a 2011 Ford van northbound on North Country Road when the vehicle veered off the road and struck a pole in front of 1255 North Country Road at 5:54 a.m., police said. Diallo's passenger, Alvin Simms, 53, of 253-19 148th St., Rosedale, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital with a serious back injury. Diallo, 57, of 1347 Chisholm St., Bronx, was also transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

Police said there was no criminality suspected at this time.
