Suffolk County police are searching for a man they said stabbed two brothers in North Patchogue during a fight on Saturday night, leaving them with serious injuries.

Police said the brothers, Diego Valdez, 29, and Christian Valdez, 27, were at 108 Ohls St. drinking beer with two other people when a man called one of the residents and was invited over to join the party.

After the man arrived, a fight took place outside the home and the man stabbed the Valdez brothers with a sharp object, possibly a bottle, police said.

Police received a call reporting the stabbing at 10:18 p.m. When they arrived, they found Christian Valdez suffering from severe cuts on his face, back and abdomen, and Diego Valdez suffering from severe cuts on the left side of his head and his shoulder.

Both men were taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center in East Patchogue, where they were listed in stable condition, police said.
