Utica man charged in Ronkonkoma burglary, stabbing

Callahan was charged with first-degree burglary and attempted murder, second degree. He is being processed at the Fourth Precinct and will be transported to the Suffolk County jail where he is being held on unrelated charges. Callahan is scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2009, in First District Court in Central Islip.
A Utica man was arrested and charged Tuesday in a violent home invasion in Ronkonkoma in which the victim was attacked as he slept and stabbed repeatedly, police said.
