The attorney general's office and the state Department of Health are investigating the death of a 71-year-old woman at a Medford nursing home where employees are facing criminal charges in the death of another resident. Jason Newman, spokesman for the Medford Multicare Center for Living, said on July 31, 2014 that the woman died after her ventilator malfunctioned.
