Vigil to end violence against sex workers

Quick ReadSex workers and those dedicated to calling attention to violence against them gathered in Manhattan on Saturday for a vigil to memorialize the women slain and dumped near Gilgo Beach and others killed in the past year while working as prostitutes. About 260 names of people killed worldwide in the past year were read at the vigil at Trinity Lutheran Church of Manhattan in Riverside.
