Stony Brook University unveils its Reality Deck, a $2-million virtual reality theater featuring a 360-degree screen with 1.5 billion-pixel resolution. Officials say the facility's applications are broad and can include advanced medical imaging, satellite imaging, architectural design, astronomy and weather mapping.
