Firefighters from Long Island who have died in the line of duty
The 71-year-old woman rescued Friday from a Bohemia apartment fire died Saturday of her injuries, police said.
Firefighters had rescued the victim, Nancy Fives, from the second-story apartment complex on Middleton Road after responding to an emergency call at 5:35 a.m. Friday, police and fire officials said.
